雨の日に互いの傘を外側に傾け、ぬれないようにすれ違うこと。

というのはだいたいわかる。「背の高い人は傘を持ち上げ、背の低い人は頭のあたりまで下げてください」ということでしょう。そしてこのしぐさを“dance of umbrellas”と呼んでいる。日本語に訳せば「傘おどり」ってことになるだろうか？
